THE TEAM

AMBER SIMPSON
I’m Amber, a Biomedical Sciences student at the University of Manchester. My interest in watches stems from learning about my family collection growing up. Alongside my interest in watches, my other passions include photography and squash, playing as part of the University Squash Club whenever I can.

ADITYA AGARWAL
I’m Aditya, a BSc Artificial Intelligence student at the University of Manchester. I’m fascinated in how watches have evolved over time from their initial pocket-watch form. Aside from watches, I am most intrigued by the AI-powered technology that is taking over the world and making our lives easier than ever.

ANGUS NOAKES
I’m Angus, a Horology undergraduate at Birmingham City University, with past years’ experience in the restoration and maintenance of vintage and classic aircraft, as well as currently learning to fly. With engineering being my main focus, the technical side of watches fascinates me, the craftsmanship and innovation which has gone into watches throughout history is truly compelling. That aside, I’m an avid motorsport fan, petrolhead and have a keen interest in motorcycling.

BENAS MICKEVICIUS
I’m Benas, a Business Administration student at the University of Bath, born in Lithuania but growing up in the UK. Having an interest in fashion, I have always appreciated watches as a staple of any good outfit, wherever it be for a meeting or for a night out – a watch is always necessary. In addition to caring too much about fashion I am a book worm, listen to so much music that it’s problematic for my grades and enjoy going to the gym.

EDEN PAILLET
I’m Eden, a management & marketing undergraduate at The University of Warwick. With a fervent appeal for haute couture and fine jewellery, I admire the detailed watchmaking process, storytelling, and timelessness behind such exquisite objects. Aside from watches and luxury, I am passionate about digital fashion, contemporary art, and any other eye-catching trend that could instil my curiosity.

ELI COHEN
I’m Eli, an MSc Marketing student at the University of Salford. My passion for horology stems from my family’s extensive background in the retail watch industry. I appreciate learning about different watch movements as well as their aesthetic values. Sharing this passion and engaging in healthy ‘watch talk’ is something I thoroughly enjoy! Watches aside, I am passionate about football, social media, and entrepreneurship.

ELIOT DESQUIENS
I’m Eliot, a Business undergraduate at the University of Bath. I have a growing passion for watches as they are for me timeless objects that are becoming increasingly important in the creation of an overall ‘outfit’. I’m also passionate about the fashion and the automotive industry, elements that go beautifully with timepieces.

ISABEL
I’m Isabel, a Fashion Buying and Merchandising student at the University of Manchester. I enjoy working with high end, luxury brands, having interned with Melissa Odabash, Galvan London and a Saville Row Tailor. I’m looking forward to using my passion for luxury to expand my knowledge of the watch industry. How an exquisite timepiece becomes an integral part of an outfit and is paired with everyday life really interests me. Outside of fashion and watches, I enjoy travelling and skiing.

JACOB WORTHINGTON
I’m Jacob, a horology undergraduate at Birmingham City University. My particular enthusiasms are within the mechanical side of watchmaking, focussing on the manufacture of movements, finishing, and repairing. I also enjoy learning about the fascinating heritage of the watchmaking industry. When I’m not looking at watches I enjoy cycling and watching both rugby and combat sports.

SAMUEL MILLS
I’m Samuel, a Business management student at Aston University. I’ve been interested in watches for a few years now and learning to photograph and write about them has been a really fun challenge for me. Outside of watches I am an experienced target archer, and a mountaineer hoping to climb more in Europe in the next few years!

TIMOTHY WONG
I’m Timothy, an International Business Management student at the University of Derby. My interest in watch collecting started at a young age, influenced by close family and friends. Apart from watches, I enjoy various activities, Badminton, Tae-Kwon-Do and recently playing golf. I also love travelling, whether going back to my second home in Hong Kong or exploring new countries and cultures!

TJ ROBINSON
I’m TJ, a Business Administration undergraduate at the University of Bath. I have find myself fascinated by the fine craftsmanship and complexity of watches, as well as the industry as a whole – expanding my knowledge excites me! Besides this, my passions are in photography, fashion, content creation, travel, and combat sports (A bit of a mix!).
